[DISCUSSION] I made a new first mistake and I’m not even mad

I sanded through on my first body refinish project. It’s a small spot.

I was consistent in my sanding technique, so I think I learned tonight that more coats of clear have a benefit and I’ll watch the edges more carefully while level sanding.

In the meantime – it’s only one point on the back of a horn. I WAS smart enough to start sanding on the back. It’ll wear as a battle scar of a lesson learned.

Plus the paint job my fiancé did on the front still kicks ass. She forgave me.

Had trouble uploading. here’s the pics

Edit: my first finish, imperfections and all. my first finish, imperfections and all.
