[DISCUSSION] Mid life crisis but with musical instruments instead of cars...

I have been playing guitar only since I was 12, for about 37 years ago that is. Mostly on and off through the years but never serious, only for fun. My son got into violin at school, so I bought one with him, still haven’t cracked it open, but it got me to wanting to play again. I got a new Ibanez GRG 6 , it is the first guitar I have purchased since a Washburn W114 in about ’07. I have an Japanese Epiphone acoustic from the early 70’s that I was given at 12 by my uncle because I wanted to learn Stairway To Heaven – which is the first song I had him teach me. The Washburn was the only other guitar that I had outside of some cheap strat knock off in the 80’s.

Since buying the Ibanez I have purchased:Gold Tone AC-1 banjo – this is super fun!Mikala Soprano Ukulele – still figuring this out…Cheap mandolin from Amazon that I am going to need to file the nut down for the action to be fixed- bought nut files…

And for my latest I bought a Kala UBass Acoustic Electric and really cheapo 1×8 monoprice bass amp. I only have a Peavy backstage II that I use for my electric.
