A friend sent me pics of a guitar his dad found in the attic. They claim this was made in the 50s but we have no clue as to who made it or how much it could cost. I figured it’s not a Fender, because of the “Made in Japan” 🎸

Warning, the picture is incredibly low res https://imgur.com/a/ArHey9T My mom isn’t sure what they were and she’s told me Epiphone, Fender, and even Gibson. To her credit, she said the last time she saw them was in the early to mid 90s. To me they look like department store guitars 🎸

How do I fix this? I have been struggling on this for a while now and I am lost. Here is my current wiring: Volume pot – right is ground. middle is going to 3 way switch and hot output jack. Left is going to middle of the tone pot. 🎸
