My band and I are playing at our year 11 prom very soon. I was hoping to get a manicure for prom. Acrylics wouldn’t work for obvious reasons, but I thought gels could work as my nails are kept short anyway. I never get my nails manicured so I wondered if this is a bad idea. Does playing with gel nails take getting used to? If so, would I need to get them done in advance to get used to playing with them.
