[QUESTION] $700 to 800 budget for electric guitar and amp. What to buy?

I’ve been playing the classical guitar for a few months and want to buy an electric and amp. I went to a guitarshop and an employee suggested i get one with humbuckers and single coils since i dont know what genre i would like to play. He suggested an Epiphone Les Paul Studio and Fender Champion 40. I need suggestions and to know what to look for. Thanks
