Hey guys I’m very new to guitar I have an electric guitar with an amp given by my grandfather who was in a rock band for a while. What would be the best free way to start learning? I’m gonna be mainly interested in playing indie pop music and emo/alt 🎸

I can play very simple and basic solos that aren’t very fast and don’t require much skill at all (I don’t even know if you could even really call them solos because they’re so easy), but anything beyond that I just can’t play. I have a really hard time playing 🎸

I made the mistake of looking at the used wall at my local shop and found this on consignment for a great price, and was able to talk it down a little more. Plays great, and it’s so incredibly comfortable to play. I was skeptical about the price and wondered 🎸

I played for a few years as a teen, never got very good and eventually abandoned the instrument. After some recent serendipitous events, I’m back on the guitar and approaching everything with a totally different mindset. I can’t believe just how much I’ve learned in such a short time, I’m 🎸

For Jazz III users, or anyone who uses similarly small picks: I just switched to the Jazz IIIs and boy is it small! Even for me with skinny fingers, I’m having a hard time getting a stable grip on this thing. I haven’t played that much with it yet so 🎸
