[QUESTION] explain pedalboards?

i’m new to guitar can someone explain how pedalboards work? specifically, if i wanted to make quality music would i need a bunch of pedals to get a good sound for solos and everything as opposed to just using amp settings? EDIT: my amp is a fender mustang lt25 if 🎸

[QUESTION] My ska sounds like a dying cow.

Muting with my fretting hand generally sucks since I’m more inclined to palm mute when I play rock. Whenever I mute with my fretting hand, it sounds awful, like a musical after taste. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to mute effectively? (Sorry if it’s hard to explain what 🎸

[QUESTION] More pronounced palm muting

So, here’s a question for you, chuggers: how can I make my palm muting better when playing like: 6th string palm 5th string e.g. 5 fret without palm. Like, every time I play I hear the sound of muted string while I’m playing the 5th string, and it creates uncomfortable 🎸
