Recently picked up a Lzzy Hale Signature Explorerbird, and it’s a beast of a guitar! The non-reverse headstock is awesome, the strings going straight through the nut combined with the lack of string trees is a 10/10 upgrade over the original design, for tuning stability The high output ’70s humbuckers 馃幐
I鈥檓 guessing I鈥檓 in the minority here, as playing along with your favorite songs is typically something most guitarists greatly enjoy, but I鈥檝e just never been into it. I鈥檝e always gravitated toward the theory side of things, and prefer to just learn scales and techniques, and jam along to backing 馃幐
Might seem a little dumb but basically a friend told me that used guitars are better because they have that “used tone”. What even is that? Is that true or is he a snob? I get that you might want to buy a used guitar for the price but putting 馃幐
