I love soloing very badly I love to strum some powerchords and loop them, and then solo over it, often becoming just jerking off a string and playing only two notes like 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2 And then I’ll maybe play the pentatonic minor scale front to back, jumping back into an actual 🎸

So a little background information, my dad had learned guitar back in the 80s and had played in a country band for a short period of time, and he hasn’t played much since. I am new to guitar, my mother bought me a guitar for Christmas of 2021, I was 🎸

Hi, I’ve been playing for about 2 years and have fallen into the bad habit of only learning riffs. Does anyone know any guitar solo’s that would be good to learn for a beginner / early intermediate player? I’m open to all genre’s because I really wanna develop as many 🎸

Let me preface this by saying that I started playing in the late 80s by learning Satriani and Vai songs, then when Images and Words came out, Petrucci was thrown into my daily curriculum. I learned the hell out of their entire catalogs and aside from a lick or 2 🎸
