I have a 2009 Gibson Les Paul Junior in my collection. In my younger and not so smart years I went through a brief phase of using steel wool to clean the fretboard (I’m a moron). This is now obvious, as the frets have a lighter, more faded look, while the edges are more similar to the fretboard’s original mahogany finish. Is this something that needs to be fixed? If so, does anyone have any recs for how to go about that/what supplies to get?
