So I’ve always wanted a PRS. For years I would look at them in the stores, grab one to jam with every once in a while… But they were always a bit out of reach.
I played a used CE24 about 10 years ago and fell in love. It was the perfect mix of snappy and smooth and I couldn’t put it down. It was a shame as I went out to to the bank to move money, and it was gone by the time I went back.
When PRS announced the CE24 was coming back a few years ago, I was really excited, but the new ones, just didn’t do it for me, they were missing something that the one I played had.
Then I played this one over the weekend. A CE24 Semi-Hollow. And it had exactly what I was looking for. The tone in my head from that one guitar I played years ago was in my hands again. I couldn’t pass it up. I put a few hundred down on it to hold it, and today I went in with the rest of the cash to pick it up.
I know it’s not the best story, but I cannot wait to get it out on stage.
