Recently my acoustic’s low E string just stoped tuning past D. I googled the problem and realized it had to do with the way it was attached to the tunning peg, and so I loosened it and unwinded that bit, but now I can’t find a proper way to knot it back. Best I’ve managed so far the string can be tuned to A, but after that it starts snapping back to G#. I’m pretty much sure i just gotta find a proper way to wind it up, but no tutorials I’ve found so far really work, anyone can help?
