2 Point vs 6 Point Trem [Discussion]

I’ve been hearing more often lately that, on a strat, a 2 point trem is better than a 6 point trem.

I’m curious as to how? It’s just 4 less screws holding it down. How does only having 2 screws improve it? Would love an explanation!

Also which do you prefer?
