In the 60’s and 70’s Japan had an abundance of already seasoned tone woods. Japanese luthiers used these tone woods to manufacture excellent guitars both in tonal quality and craftsmanship, that rivaled if not surpassed, the quality of guitars made in the USA. When these tone woods ran out, they moved production to other parts of Asia, like China, Korea, and Indonesia. Then, purists say, tonal quality suffered because inferior woods were used. They also say that craftsmanship declined. This is one of the reasons, vintage Japanese guitars are among the most highly sought after guitars. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have a very desirable guitar at an excellent price.
