Hi All,
Never owned a FR tremolo system, I’ve floated a Squier Stratocaster tremolo before (successfully!). For this specific EVH model (EVH Wolfgang Standard), it does not have a routing behind the tremolo and the instructions states that the “The EVH Floyd Rose is not set-up to float. The non-floating set-up is concurrent with Eddie Van Halen’s set up specs. The non-floating set-up allows the bridge to sit flat on the body, which maximizes the resonating capabilities of the instrument.“
Does this mean, based on the physical design of the guitar that the tremolo only goes down in pitch, as opposed to up/down?
Any set-up guides (URLs) would also be helpful. TIA
