Guitare Acoustique Hofner, modèle 4890 (Western Flattop)

C’est un très beau millésime guitare acoustique de Hofner, modèle 4890. Fabriqué en Allemagne, vers 1972. C’est une guitare de qualité, qui sonne très agréable, avec un ton plein riche. Le haut du corps est épicéa laminé, avec le dos et éclisses en érable flammé. Il dispose de liaison et filets autour de l’arrière et le haut, un cou mince, position réglable de chaînes, haut est légèrement teinté, dos et coté vernis brun foncé, avec une finition très polie.

Il est en bon état général, mais a eu une réparation à une fissure dans le cou. La réparation a été bien fait, le cou est solide, et que les dommages ont été derrière le cou, ce n’est pas vraiment visible de l’avant. Il n’affecte pas non plus l’utilisation du son ou de la guitare en aucune façon. n.b. La guitare peut être testée, mais il ya un couple de cordes manquantes. Donc, il aura besoin de nouvelles cordes et un bon réglage avant de pouvoir être pleinement apprécié.

Je ne joue pas la guitare, donc je voudrais voir la Hofner aller à quelqu’un qui le fait.

This is a very nice vintage Hofner Acoustic guitar, Model 4890 (Western Flattop). Made in Germany, around 1972. This is a quality guitar, which sounds very nice, with a rich full tone. The body top is laminated spruce, with flame maple back sides. It features binding and purfling around the back and top, thin neck, adjustable position of strings, lightly tinted top, dark brown varnish, and a highly polished finish.

It is in overall good condition, but has had a repair to a crack in the neck. The repair was well done, the neck is solid, and as the damage was behind the neck, it is not really visible from the front. Nor does it affect the sound or use of the guitar in any way. n.b. The guitar can be tested, but there are a couple of strings missing. So it will need some new strings and a proper tuning before it can be fully enjoyed.

I do not play the guitar, so I’d like to see the Hofner go to someone who does.
