I Play Guitar 5-6 Hours a Day but I Don’t Know How to Practice [QUESTION]

I’m Chris, I’m 16. I’ve been playing guitar for around a year and a half, and really enjoy myself. I’ve never actually sat down and said to myself “I’m going to get better at this technique for no reason other than just being better at it”. Typically I’ll either be improvising or learning a song that I like. I’ve made good progress this way, but none of it was purposeful, I was just forced to get better at things because I wanted my guitar to sound a certain way. I figure most people have the same experience. I would call myself intermediate, I can play GOAT and Playing God cleanly and on tempo (for a decent gauge on skill). Although, I don’t think that is saying much, if you play something enough times, eventually you’ll figure it out. Point is, I’m not a beginner. I realize I spend a decent amount of time on the guitar, but its not forced or anything, just me having fun. However I recently went to a Polyophia concert, and I realized that I actually wanted to try and to be good. Since then I’ll come home from school and sit in my room with my metronome. At minimum 6 hours daily (extended hours on weekends). My routine is as follows: for 2-3 hours I’ll sweep, alternate pick, thump, all just to the metronome at varying speeds, then for 2 or so hours ill play some songs I know, or improvise and enjoy myself. Then after that, I just end up sitting in my room with my metronome again, just trying to make any movement as clean as it can be with the given bpm (this usually lasts until I’m ready to go to bed). I feel like this isn’t the way, I have no problem with it, honestly I get hyper fixated on the metronome and end up having just as much fun, but I feel like I’m not doing it right, or at least not optimally. I’ve never had a teacher, and I’ve just taught myself stuff I’ve found on youtube. I really look up to Tim Henson’s accuracy in his hands and want to emulate that. However I cant see to find anything on how he practiced as a kid. If someone could guide me in the right direction that would be awesome thanks.
