I’m relearning the guitar after not playing for 10+ years and it’s so much fun [DISCUSSION]

I played for a few years as a teen, never got very good and eventually abandoned the instrument. After some recent serendipitous events, I’m back on the guitar and approaching everything with a totally different mindset. I can’t believe just how much I’ve learned in such a short time, I’m catching a bunch of old bad habits and improving on them, and I feel connected to my instrument more than I ever have.

It’s like I wasn’t “ready” for the instrument yet when I was a teen. And now the time has come.

A lot of the learning has been from asking dumb questions on this sub and hearing all your perspectives. Even when I get downvoted I’m learning something. And sometimes it’s the seemingly trivial comments that make a lightbulb go off. So yeah thank you guys for that!

PS. I’ve been contemplating sharing my little insights and journey on a blog or something. Hmmm
