I just got first ever guitar a few hours ago (around 5 hours ago), and they set up the classical guitar by cleaning it, tuning it and playing it professionally. Now, I’m watching some videos and guides to see the notes of the guitar, but they all seem to sound a semitone higher than my own guitar without touching the strings. I got tuner app and it’s (almost) perfectly tuned… but one semitone lower. Is it normal for classical guitars to be this way? Should I just tune it back up, or trust how they tuned it?
