Anyone have any tricks for getting their hand in good positioning for barre chords high up on the neck (like 8th fret and higher). Feel like everyone always talks about the F major chord being tough but for me barre chiefs from 1st to 7th fret are fine but then when I get high up it’s really hard for me to get my hand in good positioning (i.e. roll my finger so it’s fretting on the edge of my index). Have tried playing the guitar at a more severe angle so I have more room for my elbow but I feel like I have to get into a crazy position to be able to get all strings to ring out. Would be hard to transition in and out of that position efficiently. Any tips welcome.
