So a week and a half ago I got a new guitar, a left handed squier classic vibe 50s tele and it was giving me a good amount of buzzing on the D string and a bit on the A string so I decided to go ahead and order the parts to replace the nut. Monday I was trying and not matter what I did it wouldn’t come out. I broke the top of the nut but the other part was jammed in the guitar so I gave up and took it to a repair shop on Tuesday. Today I get a call telling me that the guy can’t take it out because it’s really bad and he doesn’t want to damage the guitar. Now I’m wondering if I could constant a support team or something because this has to be a manufacturer error where they ended up putting too much glue or maybe the wrong glue in the guitar and the nut is nearly irreplaceable without causing damage. I went and called another repair shop but the guy told me that if the other person couldn’t get it out it’s possible that the guitar may be ruined, now I’m nervous because I don’t want to have to pay for another brand new guitar. Edit: got the guitar on eBay.
