So a week and a half ago I got a new guitar, a left handed squier classic vibe 50s tele and it was giving me a good amount of buzzing on the D string and a bit on the A string so I decided to go ahead and order the parts to replace the nut. Monday I was trying and not matter what I did it wouldn鈥檛 come out. I broke the top of the nut but the other part was jammed in the guitar so I gave up and took it to a repair shop on Tuesday. Today I get a call telling me that the guy can鈥檛 take it out because it鈥檚 really bad and he doesn鈥檛 want to damage the guitar. Now I鈥檓 wondering if I could constant a support team or something because this has to be a manufacturer error where they ended up putting too much glue or maybe the wrong glue in the guitar and the nut is nearly irreplaceable without causing damage. I went and called another repair shop but the guy told me that if the other person couldn鈥檛 get it out it鈥檚 possible that the guitar may be ruined, now I鈥檓 nervous because I don鈥檛 want to have to pay for another brand new guitar. Edit: got the guitar on eBay.
