[Question]Does Anyone Else Not Care To Learn Songs?

I’m guessing I’m in the minority here, as playing along with your favorite songs is typically something most guitarists greatly enjoy, but I’ve just never been into it. I’ve always gravitated toward the theory side of things, and prefer to just learn scales and techniques, and jam along to backing tracks. I’d probably be a better rhythm guitarist if I played covers, but it’s just not something I do very often.
