I already know a lot of scales and modes so I wouldn’t be getting theory knowledge from it, I’ve heard some people say playing scales along to a metronome for hours is what made increased their sense of rhythm and endurance and precision, while other people say it makes your 🎸

Out of nowhere, my Epiphone Les Paul started having a sound issue I can’t figure out. When my pickup switch is set to “rhythm” or both (in the middle)…I get sound, but very quiet (have to turn my amp up loud to hear anything)… when I’m switched to “treble” only…I 🎸

So I learned the major CAGED system. It makes total sense but I’m looking for suggestions on how to practice using it to make music. Right now I’m just looping simple I IV, I IV V and trying to play over them with arpeggios, pentatonic and diatonic scales focusing on 🎸
