Hi guys, I’ve had an acoustic for a year or so but find it pretty hard to play so I’m thinking about possibly investing in an electric getting used to that and moving into a thicker body thicker neck acoustic guitar what would you say are the first things I 🎸

What is a good practice routine? I’m a Guitarist who mainly plays hard rock, heavy, and thrash metal. I can’t really find a good practice routine that I like online. What scales should I practice, how should I practice them, how long should I practice them? What type of picking 🎸

Turns out that when you take the distortion off and use the right pick-up, it’s already pretty close to something Mark Knopfler could do. I added some bluesy and chromatic notes, a few Dire Straits tricks and voila. This was just for fun. Let me know how you like it, 🎸

This thought entered my mind when I was considering putting 57 Classics in my Epiphone Es-335. I have a Les Paul with 57 Classics in it and before I was under the assumption that the hollow body changes the sound and using the same pick ups in both guitars would 🎸

To contextualize, ive gotten settled into my summer practice routine of doing about 2-3 hours of strictly practice, and then also however long i spend noodling in bed(lol), learning licks, riffs, leads etc. that’s usually also probably another 2-3 hours on average.
