Looking for some insight on guitar software. When I was playing in the early 2000s guitar pro was all the rage. Is that still a thing? What are the best computer apps for learning and composing guitar? I’m so out of the loop. He has a great gaming computer so he should be able to handle everything. Something he can play along with and maybe even record with? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I’m so proud of him, he’s only 13 and ran away with guitar the last year or two and his birthday is coming up and he asked for something that could help him get better and play along with tracks and even compose his own like you used to be able to do with midi sounds on guitar pro.
