Newby question Been playing guitar for a few months now (no lessons or anything, I just try to learn tabs of songs I like for fun). I’ve been doing some reading and two terms I keep seeing come up are “riff” and “lick.” Can anyone explain what these are and 🎸

I bought a $1000-$1500 guitar recently and found: A nut that wasn’t properly set on the nut slot A small orifice on the body’s binding Small drops of glue in the finish But I’m curious to know, what issues did you find in your latest $1000-$1500 purchase? What is tolerable 🎸

I was learning this solo the other day and I couldn’t resist trying this one in Knopflers signature style.
