[GEAR] I am beyond confused by tuning machines. Help?

So I’ll make this short. I have a squier affinity jazzmaster that I’ve gutted and taken apart. I ordered a 12 string bridge, new pickups, and a custom 12 string neck from warmoth

The only thing I need to get now are the tuning machines for the neck I ordered. I chose the vintage style spacing and bore diameter. I now need to find 6 left mounted vintage style tuners and 6 right mounted ones. I’ve looked all over the internet and found a million possible solutions but I have no idea what I should be looking for.

Should I get 2 sets of 3? Will they fit? Will 2 of the same 6-on-a-plate style tuners fit or do I need to find specific left and right ones? I’m now reading normal tuners won’t work and I need mini ones to fit the 12 string neck.

I’m the furthest thing possible from an expert on guitar hardware so I thought I’d ask people that could give me a clear answer or at least point me in the right direction. Any help or advice would be beyond helpful. What kind of tuners do I need and where would be the best place to look for them?
