Just got this American Ultra Telecaster in cobra blue. It’s my first telecaster and I’m loving the feel and tone.
The main things that made me want this were the color (cobra blue with maple neck), the contoured body, the D shape neck, and the S1 switch. And of course the sweet tele tone.
I’ll be saying goodbye to my American Stratocaster in aqua marine metallic (second picture). I really liked this guitar, but I told myself if I ever “upgraded” that I would sell it as I typically try to stick to getting used to one type of guitar and feel I’d be “wasting” it while someone else could enjoy it.
Bonus pic (third picture) is my telecaster with my acoustic guitar, a Breedlove Focus concert special edition (red cedar top). I LOVE my Breedlove and highly recommend for anyone who hasn’t tried one before. I’ll be keeping these two as my “forever” guitars.
