I just bought this for $220!
I’ve wanted one of these since I was in my teens, but everyone I spoke to then convinced me to go with a strat or something with humbuckers. Time to set things right. I jumped on this as soon as I saw it.
The intonation is nearly spot on, even without compensated saddles.
I bought it intending to modify it, but it looks so perfect already. The pickups and electronics are quite good. I took it apart and found that it’s shielded. The frets are a little worn, but pretty good given its age. I might replace the neck instead of getting a fret job. Larger frets, maybe medium jumbos would be nice.
I dare say I love it more than my American Deluxe Strat.
