Hi all – I’m looking at wireless headphone options for guitar.
I know the Boss Waza Air exists but I’m wondering if I can find something a little cheaper and more flexible (can work with my existing gear, can double as a headset for video conferences, etc).
It looks like the Boss Waza headphones use 2.4GHz rather than bluetooth so that there’s no noticeable latency. I’ve seen tons of other 2.4g headsets available (usually marketed towards gamers).
Does anyone here have experience using any other 2.4 or 5 ghz headset for playing guitar? I’ve seen deeply buried comments, forum posts, and product reviews where people mention it in passing but I’m trying to get a more definitive answer here – namely, is “2.4ghz” the magic word here, and can I use any headset with that technology to basically get the same effect, or does the Boss Waza have some other secret ‘magic’ going on?
