I have a mim 60s strat I got back in 2014 and I was considering replacing the pickups/pick guard. However I noticed that the loaded pick guard id like to get has a wire that is meant to go to a screw fitted directly into the body, my model doesn’t have that same screw. Would I have to install that or would I be able to just leave not wired. Any help would be appreciated!
