This is about as fast as I can fingerpick while singing. And yet I’m still a good 10 bpm off the original. It also wasn’t easy at all for me to pick at the speed I am (I wouldn’t be confident in my ability to do it live). I was wondering if my right hand technique is inhibiting my speed and accuracy in my fingerpicking? My pinky and ring finger curl in towards my palm when I’m playing and I think this could be tensing up my hand. I’ve tried anchoring and not curling my ring and pinky but I can’t it just naturally happens. Any tips for me to improve speed and accuracy while fingerpicking? I practice a lot but feel like my fingerpicking isn’t improving. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks!
