[QUESTION] Should I get a bigger fretboard or just practice more?

So, I’m picking up guitar again after a short break, I remember the basics from when I took a short month long or so class, and have.. the basics down. I can strum, and finger pick a bit. My main issue is, I have pretty big fingers, and playing chords can be really challenging since there’s not enough room to press down all the strings. I’m wondering if this is just a lack of experience, or if I should seek out a guitar with a bigger fretboard so I can more comfortably play the chords
