I have a mim 60s strat I got back in 2014 and I was considering replacing the pickups/pick guard. However I noticed that the loaded pick guard id like to get has a wire that is meant to go to a screw fitted directly into the body, my model doesn’t 🎸

I plug my mic into it and my amp just makes a buzzing sound. I’m not getting any sound from the mic. Maybe it’s because it’s a practice amp and it can’t handle it or something?? submitted by /u/throwawayawaythrow96 [link] [comments]

The guitar that has the awesome pot/ volume knob is a 1959 gibson les paul jr double cut. It’s been modified so no idea if the pot is original. It’s really nice to be able to dial in the amount of gain on the guitar itself. How do I make 🎸

Basically a Marshall MG100HDFX 100W head and a Marshall cabinet came up near me on Facebook marketplace and the guy has no idea about guitars or anything so he doesn’t know if the head works or not, he said it turns on but he hasn’t plugged anything into it. Cabinet 🎸
