I’ve been playing Guitar for a month now. Before that, I was playing Bass. But it always felt like something was missing. Whenever I was improvising, I’d always play the same stuff. I felt like I was just going up and down the scale and I wasn’t really “feeling” what 🎸

The Les Paul in the bottom middle I got when I was a senior in High School in 1975/1976. It started out as a Cherry Sunburst, with PAFs, but I was gigging in the winter, and opened the case too soon, and split the finish terribly, and redid it clear. 🎸

This is probably a really stupid question to ask, but I’d rather embarrassed myself than learn the wrong stuff. I tend to play too fast without a metronome, so I’m practicing to go according to the beat. I know the key is to start slow and increase the speed gradually, 🎸
