I’ve got an Ibanez S Series which has two humbuckers and a single coil. I am thinking of installing active pickups in it where the humbuckers are. Is this a good idea and can I just leave the passive single coil in there as is or should that be removed 🎸

First Attempt at Writing a Solo [Video] This is my first attempt at (fully) writing a solo. I’ve tried fully improvising solos in the past, but never got anything good. This solo is a mix of improvising, then then taking the parts I like, and putting them into a full 🎸

It’s the guitar I learned on, so I bought one for 400 bucks. Leave it to nostalgia to make me fall in love with the instrument again. It’s weird, I remembered things I learned on that model that I haven’t thought about since. Sometimes it’s worth it when you return 🎸
