Jazz is not about learning 100s of Jazz Scales. In fact, there is just one scale that you should focus on in the beginning. (Pictures below) Hi, Ive got this Telecaster second hand for about 500 pounds in the UK. Is 2017 MIM. Has one button on the volume KNOB, I do not know if is normal in this range of guitars. Also the volume drops a bit whenever I am using the body 🎸

I am self-taught and have been playing guitar on-and-off for 10+ years. I would say I’m pretty talented at this point, however I am very limited because I know nothing of music theory or how to improvise. For my fellow self-taught guitarists out there, how did you learn guitar music 🎸

Alright, its possible i’m just not thinking far enough into this but; Recently been thinking about pulling the trigger on a baritone. new project i’ve been writing for is pretty heavy overall but has some ambient stuff at times. So, Thinking about using this 27” baritone in this band; just 🎸

Do you guys have any tips to reducing tension when playing? When I’m unplugged I can hear the string noise very loud when I pick and also I hold the pick so hard it even makes my finger hurt. My wrists doesn’t hurt but I want a better and soother 🎸
