Does anybody else find that dialling back the gain sometimes sounds heavier? Super high gain is fun to play, but feels kind of mushy and unsatisfying when playing along to a song. I鈥檝e found that lowering the gain and adjusting the EQ for extra attack has improved my playing a 馃幐
I feel like over the last few years I鈥檝e completely hit a brick wall with my playing. Just like I鈥檓 not getting better at all. I鈥檓 definitely not a bad player- like I know my way around a guitar decently but I just don鈥檛 know how to keep getting better. 馃幐
Looking at upgrading from my Epi LP Standard Pro to something a bit higher quality and versatile. I really only have space for 1 guitar, and as I鈥檓 just jamming alone/recording and not gigging I can鈥檛 justify a second. My problem is I play a bit of everything. I lean 馃幐
