Recently setup my Kramer pacer with a non recessed Floyd rose special and got it to stay in tune perfectly after a Gary Holt style whammy bar abuse session, decided to set up my Jackson Adrian Smith Sdx exactly the same but it won’t hold tuning, found out that the 🎸

So, I’ve inherited a guitar, it’s a 1973 Gretsch 7594 white Falcon, I don’t know anything about guitar, but my grandfather was a songwriter and a record shop owner, music was everything to him and he played literally until the day he died, he had 2 guitar, this and an 🎸

The Les Paul in the bottom middle I got when I was a senior in High School in 1975/1976. It started out as a Cherry Sunburst, with PAFs, but I was gigging in the winter, and opened the case too soon, and split the finish terribly, and redid it clear. 🎸

This is probably a really stupid question to ask, but I’d rather embarrassed myself than learn the wrong stuff. I tend to play too fast without a metronome, so I’m practicing to go according to the beat. I know the key is to start slow and increase the speed gradually, 🎸
